🌟 How to Order with Precious Mums & Garters Creations

We make the process of ordering your custom homecoming mum or garter easy, fun, and personalized from start to finish! Here’s how it works:


Step 1: Schedule a Consultation (Recommended)

We recommend starting with a custom consultation—either in-person, via phone, or virtually. This allows us to understand your vision, preferences, school colors, theme, and budget.

Step 2: Design & Personalization

After gathering your ideas and details, we’ll work together to:

  • Select your mum or garter size
  • Choose colors, charms, ribbons, and add-ons
  • Confirm personalization elements like names, numbers, mascots, and themes

This step ensures your piece is uniquely you and reflects your personality, school spirit, and style.


Step 3: Secure Your Order

You’ll receive a quote and design summary. Once confirmed, we’ll collect full payment online to reserve your spot in our production schedule—especially important during the busy homecoming season.

LATE FEE ORDER: Ordering any item within (14) from your HOCO Date. We will charge an additional fee which will vary on size and date of homecoming. This will need approval of Precious Mums & Garters Creations.


Step 4: Creation Begins

We handcraft your mum or garter using only premium materials. Every detail is carefully placed, and each piece is treated as a one-of-a-kind creation. You will also receive an updated email as to when your order has started. Please check your emails.


Step 5: Pickup

Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you for pickup. We’ll ensure it arrives beautifully packaged and ready for your big day.Once our schedule is full or the cutoff date has passed, we will no longer be able to accept new orders—no exceptions. This ensures that every customer receives the time, quality, and attention to detail they deserve.

We highly encourage placing your order as early as possible to:

  • Guarantee your spot in our production schedule
  • Secure access to custom add-ons, specialty materials, and trending designs
  • Avoid rush fees or last-minute limitations

Don’t miss out—once our calendar is booked, we will close orders until the following season.

Standard Orders

We kindly request that all standard orders be placed at least 14 business days prior to your scheduled Homecoming (HOCO) date. This advance notice allows us adequate time to:

  • Secure specialty materials based on your design
  • Customize every detail to your specifications
  • Ensure a seamless production process and on-time completion
  • Late Orders

    Orders placed within 14 business days of your Homecoming date are considered late orders and are handled on a case-by-case basis. Acceptance of late orders depends on several factors, including:
    • Design complexity and item size
    • Availability of required materials
    • Current production schedule and staffing capacity
    An additional late-order fee will apply to accommodate expedited production, and availability is not guaranteed. If you are placing an order close to your HOCO date, please contact us directly and as soon as possible to confirm whether we can accept your request.
  • Ordering early is highly recommended, as production spots fill quickly during peak season.If you're considering a custom creation, now is the perfect time to start the process. Let’s make your homecoming unforgettable—together!
