Return & Damage Policy

At Precious Mums & Garters Creations, every mum and garter is custom-made with attention to detail, creativity, and care. Because each order is uniquely handcrafted based on your specific requests—including color schemes, themes, names, and personalized additions—all sales are final.

No Refunds or Returns – No Exceptions

Due to the custom and personalized nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns, issue refunds, or offer exchanges under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind
• Event cancellation
• Ordering the wrong size or design
• Failure to read or follow posted policies
• Missed pickup dates ( Must get approval by Owner for a new pick up date)

We ask that all customers carefully review their order details before submitting and ensure that all customization requests are accurate and final at the time of payment.

Order Pickup & Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting their item(s) at the time of pickup or delivery. Once the product leaves our possession—whether picked up by you or someone on your behalf—it is considered accepted and approved as-is.

We encourage you to:

• Check for correct name spellings, colors, and custom elements before leaving.
• Handle the item with care during transport.
• Ask any last-minute questions before departure.

Important Care Instruction for Mum/Garter : Do Not Leave in Hot Vehicles

• Due to the delicate and handcrafted nature of our homecoming mums and garters, it is critically important that they are handled and stored with care immediately after pickup or delivery.Under no circumstances should a homecoming mum or garter be left inside a hot vehicle—regardless of the duration. Even a few minutes in extreme heat can cause irreversible damage, including:
  • Warping or melting of decorative elements
  • Loosening of adhesives, causing parts to detach
  • Fading or discoloration of ribbons, flowers, and embellishments
  • Curling, sticking, or fraying of specialty materials
  Texas temperatures, even in the fall, can rise quickly inside closed vehicles, creating a harsh environment that is unsafe for these intricate, handcrafted items.To preserve the beauty and integrity of your mum or garter:
  • Transport it in a cool, climate-controlled environment
  • Do not leave it unattended in a car, trunk, or truck bed
  • Store it hanging upright or laid flat in a safe, shaded space until ready for use
  We are not responsible for any damage that occurs due to improper storage or exposure to heat after pickup. Please take every precaution to protect your order so it remains in pristine condition for your celebration.

Responsibility After Pickup

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Precious Mums & Garters Creations is no longer liable for any damage, loss, or alterations that occur while the product is in your care. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Damage caused by handling, dropping, tearing, bending, or snagging
• Exposure to heat, sunlight, moisture, or other environmental factors
• Damage due to improper storage or transport

IMPORTANT:
Mums and garters are delicate, decorative items and must be treated with care. Do not leave your order in a vehicle, especially in Texas heat, as extreme temperatures may cause ribbons to curl, adhesives to loosen, and decorative elements to warp or fall off. We cannot repair items damaged due to improper handling or storage.
